I swear I say this every post almost, but life just gets away from me... All my days are blending together and I haven't been able to keep up on the blog as well as I want to. I have been going to the Chiropractor multiple times a week since the beginning of August. I woke up one day and couldn't turn my head at all. Come to find out my un-fixed injuries from an old car accident flared up and told my body it needed to be fixed. When I have my appointment I am normally gone for close to 2 hours as I do some re-hab therapy along with the basic adjustments. So far things seem to be working and I am receiving good results, but it is a long process to correct an old injury. As of the last couple of weeks I have been going only once a week, but I am expecting to continue the therapies until the beginning of the year at least. There are so many days where I just feel like I can hardly move. I must be getting old - I know 27 isn't as old as some of you out there but compared to how I felt even 5 years ago....
Rob has had quite an up and down year for work. There are some months where we hardly see him, and then all of a sudden it gets sooo slow where we are wondering if he should just get out of the business and try something else. He quit hauling the oil a few months ago and now hauls as an owner-operator for Wal-Mart. So far he likes it a lot better then the oil, and it should be more steady on a year round perspective then the asphalt oil. The nice thing about this new job is that he can have consistent hours and that he doesn't get that dirty anymore. The biggest con of it is that he has to be gone for 5-6 days at a time so we don't see him as much. Of course it is getting close to the holidays, so Rob is working like crazy but after the year we have had where he has been sitting most of the time, it is a huge relief.
Maysie is growing so fast and is quite the kid. She is very independent and insists on thing being done her way and more often than not she has to do every thing by herself. As of late, she loves to play dress up and constantly throughout the day she is changing clothes, so if you come to my house and she is running around in just some underwear, don't worry, she is just in between outfits and more than likely she is trying to find whatever it was she had on 2 hours before. :) She has became enthralled with skirts and tutu's and loves to be a princess. Yep, she is all girl.
Camden is still growing like a weed. When I weighed him for his 7 month birthday, he was just under 16 pounds and was 25 1/2 inches long. Yep, you can't even tell he was a preemie now. He is still alittle bit on the small side but you wouldn't really be able to tell if you put him up against someone his own age. He is really blossoming in all the other aspects of development too. He said his first word, DaDa a few days after he turned 7 months. (I don't get it, I am the one who is with him all the time, but he still said DaDa first....) He loves to alliterate his new found vocabulary over, and over and over again. :) He sits up like a pro now, and is so close to crawling it is sad. My guess he will be crawling within the next week or so, but until then, rolling or using his body like an inch worm suits him just fine. :) He still has no teeth but I can tell they bother him sometimes. He shows all the signs of a teething baby but for some reason they won't come through - stubborn I tell ya!
So that's a general update of what has been going on in our neck of the woods..... see, we are still alive! :)
