Wow, this last month has flown by... We had this party in the middle of December and I am just now finding time to sit down and blog about it... Yikes! This year we had our party at the "School". We had a great turnout especially compared to Thanksgiving.
Maysie was in heaven just to be able to play with all her cousins especially those that she doesn't get to see very often. Camden just wanted to get down and crawl everywhere... Of course Jolly Old St Nick made his appearance and passed out a present to each of the kids.
Maysie named was called in the middle and Camden's was like 3rd from the last but
Maysie was such a sweetheart and waited to open her present until Camden got one too, despite what all the other kids were doing. This year
Maysie was really into Santa Claus. In fact almost all the kids her age and even just a little bit older then her wouldn't even want to get close to Santa, but
Maysie was running up to him and giving him big hugs! :) When Santa asked her what she wanted him to bring her for Christmas, she responded very simply, "A Surprise!" This just made me smile and strut my feathers about how cute and precious my child is. Here are a few pictures of the family at this year's party.

Maysie hit a jealous streak and pushed the little guy off of her bed. Ouch!
He got a car. After we got it out of the box, he was chasing that thing from one end of the room to the other. Yep, he is all boy!
We had a really fun time, and as a family we received a Christmas Bulb with a picture of the Savior so we could place it on our tree and always be able to remember the reason for the season. It was probably one of my most favorite thing of the day to have that little remembrance to think about the Savior instead of all the commercialism that Christmas has become.
